What’s different about the new Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser?

After cultivating a Velvetiser community, Hotel Chocolat set out with the goal of elevating the drinking chocolate experience even further, and it certainly scored! For the first time, the all-new Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser can make cold drinking chocolate.
The all-new Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser can make cold drinking chocolate at the turn of a dial; the new functionality uses a specially developed range of six cold recipes made from finely milled real chocolate and pre-chilled milk. The cold setting programme pulses at the start to meld the chocolate, then gradually decelerates to preserve the chocolate crema.
The cold function can be found on the base of the all-new Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser in the form of an intuitive dial interface with colour-coded lights.
You’ll be thrilled to hear that there are new cold drinking chocolate recipes, too: Cherry, Crème Brûlée, Banana, Mandarin & Orange, Mint and Classic; we can’t wait to get our lips on the Mandarin & Orange drink.
Plus, the all-new Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser has had a design upgrade; the new drinking chocolate machine’s fluted design is beautifully modelled after the shape of a growing cacao pod and it’s crafted in steel. The handle is made from sustainably sourced solid ash.

The all-new Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser is so simple to use: put the chocolate in, add the milk, pop the lid on, turn the dial which is located on the new base (right for hot, left for cold), and press the button. Two minutes later, you’ll have a cup of velvety chocolate drink.
