As loyal fast food fans, it always feels rewarding knowing that you had a hand in getting an item on the menu. Whether it’s McDonald’s Snack Wrap, Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza, or KFC’s Honey BBQ chicken, ordering those items is extra exciting after you spent years petitioning for them.
While Taco Bell is great at listening to its customers when it comes to bringing back old favorites, it’s certainly more rare to see a new item be released that was suggested by fans. However, after Taco Bell debuted its Fan Style customizations earlier this summer, the chain challenged us all to create our best menu inventions. Now, after more than 40,000 menu submissions, Taco Bell is bringing three of those Fan Style menu items to restaurants nationwide.
Taco Bell’s New Fan Style Menu

Last year, we saw the success of Burger King’s Million Dollar Whopper contest turn into this year’s new Whopper by You campaign, which brings fan-created burgers to life.
Now, Taco Bell has done something similar by allowing fans to reimagine existing menu items into their own Fan Style. The winning Fan Style menu items include a California Crunchwrap created by Brock from Michigan, Burrito Bliss imagined by Sandra from Missouri, and Cantina Craze dreamed up by Kajol from Kentucky, which will be available at Taco Bells nationwide beginning Nov. 20.
The California Crunchwrap draws inspiration from the San Diego-style burrito, which includes fries and guac on a steak burrito. Brock’s take on the Crunchwrap replaces the seasoned ground beef with steak, plus adds Taco Bell’s fan-loved Nacho Fries and guacamole to the signature dish filled with a tostada, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and cheese sauce all inside a grilled tortilla.
Sandra’s Burrito Bliss is a vegetarian option, made with seasoned rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, Fiesta Tortilla Strips, and Avocado Ranch, wrapped in a grilled tortilla.
Kajol’s Cantina Craze honors the beloved Cantina Chicken by adding Creamy Jalapeno Sauce, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream to the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco.
All three Fan Style menu items will be available to order via the Taco Bell app and at the in-restaurant kiosks for a limited time starting Nov. 20. And, if these three Fan Style items aren’t your style, that’s ok, too, because Taco Bell’s Fan Style customizations can still be made in its app to perfect all your favorite Taco Bell menu items to your liking for the forseeable future.
