Sam’s Club Has a Copycat Treat of the Costco Product Fans Wait All Year For

There are so many essentials during the holiday season, from twinkly lights to wreaths and holly bushes. However, the one thing that we can all agree on as a non-negotiable during December is the sweet treats. We can argue over a ham vs. turkey for Christmas dinner or if you should top your latkes with applesauce or sour cream, but the only argument for desserts is that there better be platefuls.

At any holiday party or dinner, we’re looking forward to the cookies, pies, candy, and show-stopping yule logs to send us into a sweet “Elf”-like sugar rush. Don’t want to make all that from scratch? You don’t even have to because Sam’s Club sells it all—down to a holiday dessert platter with a yule log, cookies, cupcakes, and cake balls.

The one thing the club store’s bakery section has never offered, though, is peppermint bark, a fan favorite at its competitor, Costco. This year, all that changes—just not in the bakery aisle.

Sam’s Club has released its first-ever private-label peppermint bark in bagged form, with its new Member’s Mark Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark.

The Member’s Mark Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark features a layer of dark chocolate topped with a layer of creamy white confectionery and finished with crunchy, crushed peppermint candy pieces. It’s a blend of rich, sweet, minty flavors in every bite—and fans are already calling it an “absolutely perfect holiday treat.”

Unlike the peppermint bark you’d buy at Costco—or another bakery—Sam’s Club’s candy is sold in a resealable bag to keep it perfectly fresh for the entire holiday season. Plus, (sorry Costco members), the Member’s Mark Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark is available at an unbeatable price. A 22-ounce bag of peppermint bark at Sam’s Club is just $9.98, which blows Costco’s 21-ounce tub for $16.99 out of the water.

There’s certainly no need to fork over more than $30 for the Williams Sonoma tin now. Simply dump the $10 bag into your own tin, and you’ve got the perfect holiday gift that tastes just as delicious.

“This peppermint bark is delicious. It’s just as good as the expensive brand that comes in a tin and costs more than twice as much,” one reviewer shared.

Additionally, the new Member’s Mark Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark follows Sam’s Club’s Made Without commitment, meaning the candy has no synthetic colors or artificial flavors.

Sam’s peppermint bark won’t be around for much longer, so don’t let this holiday season pass without grabbing a bag (or two!).
