The Allrecipes editors spend a lot of time in the kitchen, whether it’s perfecting recipes or testing out the newest cooking gear. In 2025, we used a ton of kitchen tools on repeat, including versatile Pyrex bowls, OXO Good Grips gadgets, and convenient KitchenAid pasta attachments. To help you stock your kitchen with the best, we rounded up a list of the 10 products we absolutely loved this year—a majority of which are under $20.

    Editor-Loved Kitchen Tools

    • KitchenAid 3-in-1 Pasta Attachment, $150 (was $200)
    • Stasher Premium Silicone Reusable Food Storage Bowl, $17
    • Pyrex Essentials 3-Piece Glass Mixing Bowls Set, $18
    • OXO Good Grips Large Vegetable Peeler, $14
    • Microplane Premium Classic Series Zester, $18
    • FryAway Cooking Oil Solidifier, $13
    • Tellshun Crinkle Cutter Stainless Steel Slicer, $6
    • Tinana Ice Sphere Cube Maker, $40 (was $55)
    • Chef iQ Sense Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer, $63 (was $130)
    • Cisily Sponge Holder and Sink Caddy Organizer, $14 (was $20)

    KitchenAid 3-in-1 Pasta Attachment

    Amazon

KitchenAid recently released an updated three-in-one pasta maker attachment, and Editor Andrea Lobas says it’s a “major upgrade” from the three-piece set previously offered. “Not having to attach and reattach the roller and the cutter has been huge, and I love it,” she says. “Makes pasta-making all that much easier.” The new model has eight different pasta thickness settings and is designed to fit all KitchenAid stand mixers.

Stasher Premium Silicone Reusable Food Storage Bowl

    Amazon

Editorial Director Devon O’Brien is a big fan of these reusable Stasher storage bowls, which are easier to fill than regular Stasher bags since they stand up on their own. They’re also easier to get food out of, wash, and dry because they don’t fold over on themselves like other reusable silicone bags. Grab them in sizes ranging from 1 cup to 8 cups.

Pyrex Essentials 3-Piece Glass Mixing Bowls Set

    Amazon

As an Allrecipes editor myself, I use these Pyrex bowls pretty much every time I cook at home—not just for baking, but also prepping ingredients for dinner, serving salads or sides, and whisking eggs. The mixing bowls nest together nicely for storage and have survived over a year’s worth of use (and dishwasher cycles) without any damage, despite only costing $6 apiece.

OXO Good Grips Large Vegetable Peeler

    Amazon

This OXO Good Grips peeler features a soft handle and a wide, sharp blade for quickly peeling large or thick-skinned produce, such as butternut squash and eggplant. Devon uses it to save time while shredding cabbage for tacos. “I wish I had gotten it sooner,” she says.

    Microplane Premium Classic Series Zester

    Amazon

A Microplane grater comes in handy for so much more than citrus. Use it to finely grate Parmesan cheese, top hot cocoa or mochas with chocolate shavings, or add a boost of flavor to marinades and vinaigrettes. Devon smartly keeps two in her kitchen drawer: one dedicated to garlic and other savory foods, and another that stays garlic-free for zest and other sweet applications.

    FryAway Cooking Oil Solidifier

    Amazon

After hearing about this cooking oil solidifier from fellow Allrecipes editors last year, I finally tried it myself in 2025—and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. Simply stir it into the hot oil, let it cool, then toss everything into the compost or trash. Like my colleagues, I’ll definitely be keeping a bag of this in my pantry at all times now.

Tellshun Crinkle Cutter Stainless Steel Slicer

    Amazon

Create crinkle-cut fries, carrots, cucumbers, and more with this clever $6 tool. It features a sharp, stainless steel edge for slicing produce into a uniform wave shape, along with a comfortable, easy-to-grip handle. This is a must-have for busy parents and families with kids, since crinkle cut fruits and veggies are obviously more fun to eat. Best of all, it’s dishwasher-safe.

    Tinana Ice Sphere Cube Maker

    Amazon

If you want to skip the bar and make craft cocktails at home instead, start by grabbing one of these ice sphere cube makers. Devon says it’s easy to use and creates “perfectly clear ice every time.” The silicone tray makes eight ice cube spheres after 24 to 30 hours in the freezer, and the mold’s rectangular shape won’t take up too much space.

Chef iQ Sense Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer

    Amazon

These smart wireless meat thermometers are “game changers,” according to Andrea. Roast chicken comes out perfectly moist, and grilled steaks are easy to cook to your liking. It will definitely take the pressure off while preparing holiday turkeys and roasts, as well. “I’d highly recommend getting at least a two-pack,” says Andrea. If you prefer an instant-read thermometer, Devon loves this Lavatools Javelin Instant Read Meat Thermometer, which is currently on sale for $23.

Cisily Sponge Holder and Sink Caddy Organizer

    Amazon

Clearing the space around your kitchen sink is the ultimate hack for making your space feel more open and functional, plus you’ll minimize moisture and odors from sponges and dish brushes. Devon uses this Cisily sink caddy to keep dish soap, hand soap, and bottle brushes organized, saying that it “works so well and looks really nice, too.”
