Reese’s has salty-sweet down to a science. The balance between rich chocolate and salty, creamy peanut butter has been fine-tuned to the point where it’s nearly impossible to stop eating—trust us, we’ve studied it closely.
Nearly every treat in Reese’s repertoire strikes that signature harmony, but there’s one snack the brand released last year that feels a bit one-sided. Sure, it checks lots of boxes—crunchy, crowd-pleasing, and packed with Reese’s peanut butter—but for all its strengths, something’s still been missing: a crucial touch of sweetness.
Now, Reese’s is giving the classic snack the sweet upgrade it needs—and we, along with plenty of fans, predict the outcome will be “dangerous.”
Reese’s Launches New PB&J Filled Pretzels
For a limited time, Reese’s is offering its fan-favorite peanut butter–filled pretzels with a sweet strawberry twist, turning the snack into a crunchy, bite-sized take on the beloved PB&J.
From the outside, they look just like the original pretzel bites, with their crispy, golden shell sprinkled with chunky salt flakes. Inside, however, Reese’s signature peanut butter filling is infused with a strawberry jelly-inspired flavor, adding a fruity sweetness that balances the salt and helps cut through the pretzel’s dryness. If you loved Reese’s PB&J Strawberry Big Cup last spring, this new snack should be right up your alley.
“Jelly is EXACTLY what the reg ones were missing,” one fan insisted.
Considering how easy it already is to polish off an entire container of the original pretzels, fans are planning accordingly. “Limited time? Ima need a case,” one fan shared. “I’ll take your entire stock!” wrote another.
And snack lovers who’ve already tried them are confirming our suspicions. “Got ’em last night and they are already half gone. And I’m the only one eating them,” one customer admitted.
The new Reese’s pretzel snack is available in large 18-ounce screw-top jars for a suggested retail price of $6.99. So far, they’ve been spotted at Target. Just remember: they’re only here for a limited time, so if you see them, you might want to grab them while you can.
If Reese’s peanut butter–filled pretzels have always left you wanting a little sweet relief, this PB&J-inspired version might be exactly the upgrade you’ve been waiting for. And if the brand is giving its party snack a full revamp, we can only hope a chocolate-covered version is coming next.
