As one of the few resident Wisconsinites at Allrecipes, I will always take an opportunity to celebrate and highlight our food culture, businesses, and regional recipes. From our supper club–inspired relish trays to our one-of-a-kind specialties, I’ll jump at any opportunity to sing Wisconsin’s praises—including one of the state’s most beloved exports: Culver’s. And I’m not the only one.

Allrecipes Senior Social Media Manager Heather Oldenborg is a fellow Wisconsinite. Thus, she’s a Culver’s expert, too. Like many Wisconsinites, Oldenborg grew up enjoying the iconic chain—and visits to their local Culver’s were often a family affair.

“Growing up, I remember Culver’s being my grandparents’ favorite place to grab a quick bite or a sweet treat,” Oldenborg recalls. And why mess with a good thing? Her grandparents still regularly visit to pick up their favorite dishes—even after her grandfather was moved into an assisted living home.

“My papa moved into assisted living almost four years ago and they still have Culver’s regularly,” said Oldenborg. “They love to get ButterBurgers, onion rings, and frozen custard.”

As a self-proclaimed Culver’s pro, I thought I knew everything there was to know about the chain but Oldenberg’s granny and papa taught me something new.

Now, I already know how good of a deal Culver’s kids meal is—you get a ButterBurger, side, drink, and Scoopie for less than $7! There are other Culver’s hacks I learned through the years—including DIYing your own cheese curds, opting for the $1 upgrade that transforms every meal, and even regularly checking in for seasonal specials.

But thanks to Granny Sue, I just learned a new Culver’s hack that I can’t believe I didn’t know before. And now that I’m in the know—I’ll be using it every visit.

How To Order Pints of Culver’s Custard

“My grandma likes to tell everyone about their deal where you can mix and match four pints of custard for $12,” shared Oldenburg. “It’s cheaper than getting a pint of ice cream at the grocery store.”

House-made, fresh Wisconsin frozen custard for only $4 a pint? Say no more!

At Culver’s, the price for an individual hand-packed pint of fresh frozen custard is often around $6—or more. So, with this deal, buying in bulk really does equal savings. And because it’s frozen custard, you can just stick it in the freezer and enjoy at your own leisure—it isn’t going bad any time soon!

The four pints can be a variety of flavors—starting with either vanilla or chocolate with up to two toppings including hot caramel, M&M’s Minis, Oreo cookies, and much more. You can also order a pint of the Flavor of the Day as a part of this promotion. Mix and match your favorite add-ins to make a custom frozen custard order you can enjoy for days to come.

“Papa loves Culver’s classic, creamy vanilla frozen custard and my granny loves their Turtle Dove flavor,” shared Oldenborg.

This promotion is a Culver’s lover’s dream. Who wouldn’t love to have four pints of Culver’s custard knocking around in the freezer? And for only $4 a pint, we’re saving money at the grocery store, too. It’s another Culver’s deal that just can’t be beat!
