I always work up an appetite while shopping. Whether it’s shopping at the mall or running errands, I’ll always feel a tad peckish once I check out and head back to my car. Any stop at the mall ends with a soft pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. And growing up, I absolutely loved joining my mom on trips to Lowe’s because that meant we’d get to stop by the hot dog stand outside the store for a post-shopping bite.
Now, a beloved burger chain is opening outside of another popular home improvement store.
Wahlburgers Now at Select Home Depot Locations
If you’re anything like me, a trip to the hardware store is met with anything less than enthusiasm. So, when I heard about a celebrity-owned burger chain setting up shop in front of select Home Depots, I knew the shopping experience would get so much better for every type of customer.
Wahlburgers, the burger chain owned by Mark Wahlberg and his brothers Donnie and Chef Paul, recently opened its first three Home Depot locations in Rockledge, Stuart, and Vero Beach, Fla. The menu features its fan-favorite items such as the Our Burger, Smashburger, BBQ Road Burger, and Crispy Chicken Ranch. There are also select breakfast offerings as well as delicious house-made milkshakes.
“This will be an exciting year of growth for Wahlburgers as we continue to deliver strong year-over-year performance,” said Randy Sharpe, CEO of Wahlburgers, in a press release. “From expanding into new markets to diversifying our offerings through new experiences and touchpoints, Wahlburgers is the brand to watch.”
Wahlburgers shared the news on Instagram, and it’s safe to say that Home Depot shoppers and fans of the burger chain were excited about the announcement. “Just got there today and it was delicious!” someone commented. “Yay! I’ll definitely make a trip over for my fave food,” added another.
Since I love grabbing a bite to eat after shopping, I’m more than thrilled about this new expansion. And if you live near one of these Home Depot locations with a new Wahlburgers trailer out front, you’ll have to order something from the menu to fuel up before tackling all your upcoming home improvement projects.
And if you don’t live near one, that may be changing. In the press release, Wahlburgers also shared that there are more expansion plans for 2026, including additional Home Depot locations, a new spot at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, a new location inside Big Cypress Lodge in Memphis, Tenn., and even a new partnership with Bass Pro Shops, with new locations opening this year in Irvine, Calif., and Sayreville, N.J.
It’s going to be a big year for this burger chain!
