As a coffee drinker, my daily cup of joe is not just an opportunity to caffeinate—it’s the highlight of my morning. But as much as I’d love to spend each day sampling local cafés around my neighborhood, the price of buying coffee out adds up fast. So, I tend to save my coffee shop runs for the weekend, as a little treat, and stock my fridge and pantry with products to make my kitchen cup taste just as good.
And these days, the at-home coffee options have never been better, with coffee chains like Starbucks and Dunkin’ bolstering their grocery offerings, and fridge standbys like Coffee mate innovating constantly. However, up until now, the one brand I desperately wanted coffee creamers from was not in that business—but that all just changed.
Lactaid Introduces Its First-Ever Coffee Creamers
When it comes to coffee creamers, customers typically have to choose between non-dairy creamers, like those from Califia Farms, and dairy-filled, cream-based creamers, like Chobani’s beloved offerings. There was a serious gap in the market for those like me seeking a simple, real dairy creamer without the stomachache. (Lactose-intolerant dairy lovers, unite!)
Luckily, Lactaid, my go-to brand for lactose-free milk is finally getting in the creamer game.
Lactaid Creamers mark the brand’s first foray into the coffee creamer space, and are debuting in three flavors: French Vanilla, Caramel, and Sweet Cream.
Each Lactaid Creamer is made with real milk and cream (minus the real lactose), five simple ingredients, and no artificial flavors, gums, or added oils. As someone who has watched my dairy-digesting friends have all the fun with creamer after creatively flavored creamer, I’m excited to finally get my turn. Don’t get me wrong—I love a good non-dairy creamer—but sometimes I just want my coffee to taste creamy and rich, without other intervention, like almond or oat milk flavors.
And I’m not the only one pumped about the new creamers. In an Instagram post teasing the launch, Lactaid shared customers’ comments begging—nay, demanding—the brand introduce creamers.
On the brand’s next post with the reveal, fans chimed in “BEST NEWS EVERRR,” “yasssss about timeeeee,” and, “OMG YAY. DAY MADE.”
Whether you’re sensitive to dairy or just looking for simpler creamer options for your morning routine, Lactaid’s new creamers are worth a try. And if you are lactose-intolerant, well, you’re probably not reading this because you already left to go find them at the grocery store—and I’m right there behind you!
