    Our Creamy Garlic Chicken & Broccoli Skillet is a healthy and delicious one-skillet meal that can be whipped up on a busy night. High-protein and quick-cooking chicken cutlets are seasoned to perfection and cooked in heart-healthy extra-virgin olive oil. Broccoli and garlic are added to amplify the nutrition with antioxidants and fiber. Top it off with a white wine cream sauce and bright fresh parsley—a tasty dinner in a flash.     These are the key tips we learned while developing and testing this recipe in our Test Kitchen to make sure it works, tastes great and is good for you too! 

    • Use cutlets of the same size and thickness for consistent, even cooking.
    • If you prefer more tender broccoli, cook it another minute in the skillet before adding the garlic.
    • Swap the wine for low-sodium chicken broth for an alcohol-free version with slightly milder acidity.
    • Add Parmesan cheese for depth or a squeeze of lemon juice to brighten the dish.

    Nutrition Notes

    • Chicken cutlets are simply chicken breasts that have been pounded thin. They provide all of the same high protein and nutrient benefits, including B vitamins for metabolism, potassium for heart health and choline for cognitive health. 
    • Garlic is a low-carbohydrate vegetable that has prebiotic fiber, which means it helps to feed your gut’s healthy bacteria. Garlic also contains nutrients and antioxidants that may lower bad cholesterol, reduce inflammation and support healthy blood sugar. 
    • Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable that contains nutrients that have been studied for supporting detoxification pathways, which can help fight cancer. Broccoli is also a source of fiber for good gut health. It is a significant source of vitamin K, which is necessary for healthy blood clotting, but can be problematic for those taking blood-thinning medication.
