If you’re torn between two Oliveda products or aren’t sure which is best, here are my top recommendations in each category and why!

If you’ve been reading my blog a while, you know I’m obsessed with Oliveda (aka Olive Tree People) and its waterless formulas that are amplified with antioxidants from olive leaf. People often ask me “should I get this or that?” So I thought it would be helpful to compare some of the products people often choose between so you can decide which is the best fit for you. Here are my top recommendations in each category, which products I reach for most, and why I love each one.

    Cleansers

F38 Purifying Cleansing Gel vs. F78 Arbequina Cleansing Oil

Both cleansers are delightful, but they serve very different routines. The F38 Purifying Cleansing Gel is my go-to when I want that clean-but-soft feel — it’s a gel that foams just enough, dissolves makeup and sunscreen, and leaves skin feeling calm and velvety instead of stripped. It’s my everyday shower cleanser, and it smells great! If your skin is really dry, this could be a little too drying for you – go with the oil below!

The F78 Arbequina Cleansing Oil feels luxurious and goes on like a thin oil. I reach for this at night at the sink when I need to remove makeup and the day’s grime. It glides on, melts makeup effortlessly, and rinses off clean without any oily residue. The oil layer actually helps reinforce the skin barrier while cleansing, so this is a great choice for dryer skin types, like me.

    Why I’d choose:

    • F38 — Daily cleansing vibe, especially after sunscreen/makeup days. For oilier to normal skin.
    • F78 — Deep makeup days, extra nourishment, and barrier support. For normal to dry skin.

    Serums

F06 Cell Active Serum vs. F59 Corrective Serum

F06 Cell Active Serum helps smooth your skin, reduce pore size, evens skin tone, and smoothes wrinkles! What I love most about it is that it has a skin-tightening effect, and it smells sooooo good. It’s just a great all-around serum for most skin types. If you want a serum that is a little less expensive and less active than the F59, this is the one to get. I prefer the scent of this serum to the F59 below, but because I am “of fine line age” I use the F59 for that extra boost.

    F59 Corrective Serum
is the serum that Oliveda is known for that sells out fast! It’s called “magic in a bottle” because it’s made with concentrated hydroxytyrosol (which is a super powerful antioxidant) combined with para cress extract, which is an ingredient that lifts and smooths your skin. It also builds collagen. So overtime, your wrinkles tend to lift and smooth like botox.

    Why I’d choose:

    • F06 — if hydration, smoothness, and overall skin health is your priority, especially if you’re younger.
    • F59 — if you’re wanting the maximum anti-aging effects, including smoothing fine lines.

    Booster Serums

F83 HT + Vitamin C Serum vs. F86 Corrective Vegan Hyaluronic Serum vs. F81 AHA + HT Serum

The F83 HT + Vitamin C Serum is made with hydroxytyrosol, which is a super powerful antioxidant, and it also contains camu camu. This has 1300% more power than vitamin C alone when combined with the hydroxytyrosol. It improves fine lines and wrinkles, neutralizes free radicals, and gives you a super radiant complexion by tackling uneven tone and dullness while also boosting antioxidant protection against environmental stressors. My aesthetician recommended skipping it in the drier months since vitamin C can be drying.

Another great booster if you’re looking for gentle exfoliation as an overnight peel is the F81 AHA + HT Serum. It is designed to improve texture — think of it like a skin polish you can use a few times a week to prevent dullness, reduce scarring, and keep bumps in check. It’s great for breakout-prone skin because it gently exfoliates and sloughs off dead skin which can cause build up and breakouts.

The F86 Corrective Vegan Hyaluronic Serum is great for dry and aging skin because it deeply moisturizes and hydrates, pulling water into the skin. This serum also repairs oxidative damage and makes your skin look and feel more elastic/tight. This can be used in the morning and night and I like to layer it over my all-purpose serum in the colder, drier months.

    Why I’d choose:

    • F81 — texture-smoothing, gentle resurfacing serum to use in the PM.
    • F83 — in the warmer months, a great AM serum to protect and brighten.
    • F86 — in the winter months, a top-tier hydration for flaky or thirsty skin. AM or PM.

    Elixirs

F82 Green Retinol Face Elixir vs. F87 Corrective Kahai Elixir

Oliveda’s elixirs are similar to adding a retinol to your routine – they’re ideal for boosters for anti-aging benefits. Mix this into your serum or apply on its own and follow with moisturizer. Use 2-3 drops. It’s potent, so ease into use!

The F82 Green Retinol Face Elixir uses bakuchiol (a plant-based retinol alternative) alongside hydroxytyrosol, so you get smoothing and revitalizing without the sensitivity that can come from traditional retinol. This is the most gentle of the three retinol-like boosters. I prefer the scent of this one, but I think the Kahai is a bit stronger, so I tend to buy it more.

You can use either of these day or night. The F87 Corrective Kahai Elixir has a richer botanical oil base than the Green Retinol. The Kahai elixir boosts luminosity, hydration, elasticity, and firmness in the skin while minimizing pore size and reducing hyperpigmentation. It’s made with kahai oil, which has natural retinol content (vitamin A). It’s also effective for fine lines and wrinkles. It’s good for all skin types, and you can use it morning and night!

    Why I’d choose:

    • F82 — if you want gentle anti-aging support without irritation.
    • F87 — if you want a stronger result and your skin thrives with richer oil nutrition and comfort.

    Moisturizers

F42 Corrective Face Cream vs. F74 Regeneration Cream

Generally, I use the F42 for AM and the F74 for PM but you can use either one at either time! I use the F42 for AM because it has a small sun protection factor. Sometimes when I’m traveling, I’ll just bring one and use it for both AM and PM.

The F42 Corrective Face Cream is slightly lighter and more protective, making it perfect for everyday hydration. It’s ideal for dry/aging skin because it has extra hydroxytyrosol in it. It’s smoothing, super hydrating, improves elasticity and reduces fine lines. It contains a sun protection factor, too! Apply this like you would any moisturizer, but know a little goes a very long way.

The F74 Regeneration Cream is a delicious smelling night cream that delivers serious repair and nourishment. It’s rich without feeling heavy, sinks in beautifully once you warm it up in your hands, and makes my skin feel instantly soothed. Since I have dry (older!) skin, I want maximum hydration overnight. I often follow this with a face oil to further lock in the moisture.

    Why I’d choose:

    • F42 — for lighter, daily moisture with protective benefits.
    • F74 — for nightly repair, hydration, and a rich, comforting feel that helps skin bounce back.

    Masks

F18 Black Olive Face Mask vs. F76 Honey Enzyme Face Mask

The F18 Black Olive Face Mask is a hydrating mask that deeply moisturizes and helps promote skin regeneration. It’s made from pureed black Arbequina olives, which makes it super nourishing and works well for very sensitive, irritated, or sun-stressed skin.

The F76 Honey Enzyme Face Mask removes dead skin cells with Papain from papaya so that the rest of your skincare products can absorb better. This is especially beneficial for dry and/or aging skin since you’re paying more for those types of products and you want to get the most out of them. Honey soothes, and Arbequina oil moisturizes and leaves a silky feeling. I also love that it has a warming sensation and tastes great if you get some on your lips (haha – yummy honey!) And the green color is fun!

    Why I’d choose:

    • F18 — hydrate and regenerate.
    • F76 — reset and soothe.

    Internals (Beauty From Within)

I66 The Beauty Fountain vs. I70 The Beauty Molecule

I66 The Beauty Fountain is a beauty potion that combines hydroxytyrosol with bioactive collagen peptides to create a one-of-a-kind active ingredient complex touted to smooth wrinkles. Unfortunately, we all start to lose collagen after the age of 30. The best way to replace it is to supplement with liquid bioactive collagen peptides, making it easier for the body to absorb.

The I70 The Beauty Molecule combines hydroxytyrosol with hyaluronic acid, lavender, camu camu and turmeric. It has many of the same ingredients as the I66 but with added hyaluronic acid. It’s the one I’d recommend for us mature skin gals.

    Why I’d choose:

    • I66 — broad beauty support.
    • I70 — maximum benefit with hyaluronic acid.

    Olive Rose Makeup Favorites

If you haven’t seen my full Olive Rose makeup review yet, go check that out! I love the skin tint serum, blush stick, lip butter, and concealer — they’re easy everyday staples. I’m still iffy on the mascara because I find it a bit clumpy at times.

I hope that helps clarify a few of the tweaks and differences between products! A lot of times, it’s a weigh between price and ingredients. Do you want to spend less or buy more ingredients. If you’re over 40, I’d go with the latter 😉
