With so many new better-for-you soda alternatives on the market, staying hydrated has never been more fun. Recently, I’ve been sipping on Slice’s new flavors, from a canned Shirley Temple to a gut-friendly root beer. But the newest soda to hit shelves might convince me to switch fandoms.
A beloved, international bubbly brand is coming to the U.S. for the first time ever, and I can’t wait to try every fruity, fizzy flavor.

Meet Oodles of Doodles, a family-friendly drink brand that is finally available in the U.S. The brand originated in Europe and touts itself as a healthier alternative to sugary sodas. With just five calories, one gram of sugar, and no preservatives, dyes, or GMOs, you’ll find a simple, straightforward drink that is both flavorful and hydrating. And so stinking cute!
True to its namesake, each drink comes in a 8.4-ounce can that’s covered in doodles, which are actually designed to be colored. Kids and adults alike can enjoy getting creative with the customizable drawings, while also sipping on a tasty beverage.
Oodles of Doodles drinks are made with real fruit juice, and the lineup features five signature flavors in either fizzy or still options. The bubbly versions are lightly carbonated, offering a tasty alternative to soda. For classic creamsicle vibes, reach for a can of Orange & Vanilla. Green Apple & Lime is tart and citrusy, while the Black Cherry & Vanilla is a balanced, creamy sip. And any grape soda fan will love the juicy Oodles of Doodles Grape flavor.
Strawberry & Watermelon is free of carbonation, but still full of flavor. And there’s another flavored water on the way: Pineapple Paradise.
The new, limited-edition flavor is part of a fun upcoming collaboration with Paramount’s “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,” which premiers Dec. 19. The Bikini Bottom-inspired cans are decorated with doodles of SpongeBob and his friends, so they’re perfect for any fans of the iconic cartoon. If you didn’t like Olipop’s collab (of the same name) with SpongeBob because of the bubbles, now’s your chance to get all the pineapple-under-the-sea vibes without carbonation.
Oodles of Doodles is rolling out to major retailers in the U.S. now—with the SpongeBob flavor on the way soon. Cans are sold individually for $1.50, as a four-pack for $4.45, or by the case (12-pack) for $12.99. Visit the Oodles of Doodles website to keep tabs on where to pick up a case. I’m already planning to snag one and will be breaking out my markers to add some color to each can!
