The Hershey Company is already busy making 2026 extra sweet. First, Reese’s just dropped a new shape. Then, the Shaq-A-Licious brand added a new kind of gummy. And, now, a Hershey’s classic is headed back to fast food menus across the U.S.
No hate on other chocolate, but there’s no competition when something is made with Hershey’s. Insomnia Cookies knows this, which is probably why the chain just brought back a beloved cookie that features an OG Hershey’s product.
Campfire S’mores Is Back on the Menu at Insomnia Cookies
Hershey’s pops up everywhere in the fast food world, from the drive-thru to bakery counters, but last year we fell in love with the S’mores McFlurry at McDonald’s. And while we eagerly await this summer’s menu (and its hopeful return), there’s another Hershey’s s’mores treat coming back now.
Insomnia Cookies
Insomnia Cookies just brought back Campfire S’mores. It’s described as “a nostalgic take on the classic treat, featuring a gooey brown sugar cookie loaded with graham cracker pieces, Hershey’s Mini Kisses Chocolate, marshmallows, and chocolate chunks.” Say less, Insomnia Cookies.
Technically, Insomnia Cookies has a s’mores cookie year-round. However, the S’mores Deluxe features a chocolate cookie base, with generic chocolate chunks and no Hershey’s. And that is what makes all the difference. We love to get weird with s’mores and experiment with new ingredients and variations, but so much of what makes that iconic, nostalgic s’mores flavor is due to Hershey’s signature milk chocolate taste. And fans agree. There’s something elite about this version.
When Insomnia Cookies previously sold this flavor combo, fans on Instagram pleaded for it to become permanent. “I’m begging for this to be a regular,” someone wrote. “This is the best cookie flavor y’all have ever dropped,” another added.
Customers (aka Insomniacs) can snag the returning cookie on Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. local time at participating locations nationwide. And don’t sleep on this launch: The limited-time release is only available while supplies last.
