What a time to be a soda lover. In 2025 alone, we saw dozens of never-before-seen releases from soda giants, such as Pepsi and Mountain Dew, as well as launches from more obscure names like Slice Soda. As someone who loves a sweet, bubbly beverage, I can’t complain. By this point, I’d like to say I’m no longer surprised when an unconventional drink joins the market. After all, I did try the Fruity Pebbles sparkling water that stopped everyone in their tracks last summer (which was just as unhinged as you’d expect). And now, there’s a new fizzy drink that has people talking, and I’ve honestly never seen anything like it before.
Mr. Bubble Debuts New Bubble Gum Craft Soda

Yes, you read that correctly. In celebration of Mr. Bubble’s 65th anniversary, the soap brand is officially entering the soda competition. Thanks to a new offering from The Village Company, Mr. Bubble’s iconic bubble bath soap is being reimagined as a bubbly beverage. Each 12-ounce can is light pink, features a picture of Mr. Bubble himself, and boasts flavors that evoke the “sweet, nostalgic bubble gum scent straight from the tub,” according to the brand.
Despite the soap-inspired theme, the soda is completely free of artificial dyes, sweeteners, and flavor. Instead, it’s made with cane sugar and carbonated water, while the gorgeous pink hue comes from vegetable juice.
If you’re a bit perplexed by this concept, you wouldn’t be the only one. The comment section of a recent Instagram post by food insider @markie_devo was filled with skeptical fans.
“This is very interesting,” one Instagrammer noted. “Two things that don’t really go together.”
Still, the novelty of the beverage isn’t enough to stop people from trying it—especially for fans of bubble gum flavors. “Sucks that it’s online only. I love the bubble gum energies at Dutch Bros, so this is probably decent lol.”
“I drank Mr. Bubble by accident in a bath when I was a kid,” joked one commenter.
Jokes aside, those who’ve been lucky enough to try the new soda seem to love it. In a review left on the The Village Company site, a customer gave the drink five stars, sharing that it was “very good” and that the flavor leaned more toward “minty bubble gum.” Another person raved about the nostalgic vibes and spot-on flavor. “I enjoyed this nostalgic collaboration. Totally nailed the bubble gum smell and flavor. The yummy scent reminded me of the soapy bubble gum scent during a car wash lol.”
Mr. Bubble soda is available now for a limited time on The Village Company website. You can buy the beverage in single cans for about $3.49 or in a 12-pack case for $24.99. While it’s currently listed as out-of-stock, Allrecipes received confirmation that it’ll be restocked this week. If your curiosity has been piqued, you may want to bookmark the website, as it’s likely to sell out again.
