Aldi shoppers already know that many of the retailer’s private label items are top tier. Fans even feel that some Aldi copycats, such as L’Oven Fresh Hawaiian Sweet Rolls and Kirkwood Crispy Chicken Strips, are better than their brand-name alternatives.
So when a new look-alike product pops up at Aldi, it’s no surprise that a wave of excitement ripples throughout the store’s online community. Recently, one eagle-eyed customer spotted an exciting duo on shelves, and fans can’t wait to add it to their carts.
Aldi Now Has Happy Farms Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese Spread and Jalapeño Cream Cheese Spread
Happy Farms, one of Aldi’s private-label dairy brands, has expanded its cream cheese lineup with two bold flavors: Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese Spread and Jalapeño Cream Cheese Spread.
Both were previously available only as Happy Farms Snack Packs, which feature a single serving of pretzels and the flavored spread for dipping. Now, shoppers can snag their favorite in an eight-ounce tub.

And while prices may vary by location, you can expect to pay around $2.49 each, a bargain compared to the Philadelphia brand equivalent. Philadelphia’s is just under $4 for 7.5 ounces.
It’s not clear when exactly the flavors dropped, but it appears to be a slow rollout. Some shoppers were able to find them in May, whereas others are just now seeing the tubs at their location.
On Reddit, shoppers were thrilled with the find. “Dream come true! I would go to other stores specifically to get Jalapeño Cream Cheese,” said one fan.
“For real I would do the same. I love and consistently ate the Aldi chive and onion,” another wrote. “I would occasionally get Jalapeño or Garden Vegetable from other grocery stores. So yes, I am hyped to find these today.”
A few chimed in to share how they plan to use the new flavors. “My mom used to take Philadelphia Garden Vegetable [cream cheese] to make stuffed celery. I’d bet this would go great with a bagel and some smoked salmon,” one person said. “Oh man I’m gettin’ that jalapeño flavor and gonna make myself some Seattle dogs,” added one Redditor, referencing the regional favorite hot dog loaded with grilled onions and cream cheese.
So, if you’ve been looking for a way to perk up your morning bagel or want to add some spice to a batch of spinach artichoke dip, be sure to look for Aldi’s new cream cheese spreads on your next grocery run.
