When I’m handed a menu at a restaurant, the first thing I look for is the dessert list. A sweet treat following a freshly-made meal is my favorite part about going out to eat. And one item I’m always excited to see on the dessert menu is a pizza cookie.
Many restaurants have a version of the decadent dessert, but no chain does it better than BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. Its beloved Pizookie is available in several mouthwatering flavors, from Salted Caramel to Strawberry Shortcake to Cookies ‘n’ Cream, and many more.
But now, BJ’s has a brand-new flavor in collaboration with an iconic candy brand. And fans are already rushing to try it.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse Debuts Butterfinger Pizookie

BJ’s just added a new Butterfinger flavor for its famous Pizookie. The chain’s signature dessert takes a cookie to a whole new level of deliciousness. And this new limited-time version combines the classic flavors of a Butterfinger candy bar with BJ’s beloved warm, gooey, freshly baked cookies, served in a deep-dish pan.
While a warm, oversized chocolate cookie would be good enough for most. The reason this menu item is so popular is the toppings. The Butterfinger Pizookie is topped with two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream with a smooth chocolate shell and pieces of Butterfinger, creating a rich, sweet, and nutty dessert.
BJ’s shared the new menu item on Instagram with the caption, “Say hello to the Butterfinger Pizookie. We won’t gatekeep, but we get it if you do.” And fans couldn’t contain their excitement in the comments section.
One person wrote, “OMG need to try!” Another said, “That looks delicious.” Someone else chimed in with, “On my way.”
