Chobani is officially bringing back its Confetti Birthday Cake Creamer, with its notes of yellow cake, buttercream, and sprinkles reminiscent of a nostalgic Funfetti cake.
When the limited-batch creamer hit Target shelves last winter, social media was immediately abuzz about the sweet new flavor.
“It literally tastes like vanilla cake batter, how can you not like that,” TikTok user @miahowerton said in a video.
“It’s SOOO good. I have like 3 bottles of it because I’m worried about it going out of stock,” one Instagram user commented on Chobani’s post.
And that commenter wasn’t overreacting. The flavor quickly sold out at Target before getting a limited release in other retailers, sending fans in a frenzy to store after store in an effort to track down a bottle.
“This flavor is the best one yet! I have 3 in my fridge and I’m worried to run out! Please make this permanent, I’m begging you!” another commenter wrote. The sentiment was echoed by many others; “I need this to be permanent, it’s my favorite creamer ever,” pleaded one. “Make it permanent! I need this for my coffee each morning,” begged another.
Well, it appears Chobani saw your comments and heard your pleas, because this time around, Confetti Birthday Cake Creamer is here to stay. Starting in January, the creamer will be available in retailers nationwide as a permanent addition to the brand’s lineup. But, with its history of selling out, we won’t blame you if you grab three the first time you see it in stores.
