What’s your go-to potluck contribution? My first choice will forever be cookies. I appreciate that they don’t take up any refrigerator space leading up to the big day, and come in a variety of flavors that make it easy to please a crowd. Not to mention, with incredible store bakeries like those at Sam’s Club and Costco, you can fill out a dessert table without breaking the bank—or turning on the oven.
Recently, Costco added four new cookie options to its robust bakery selection, and if you love peanut butter, you’ll want to grab your Costco card and head for the door.
Costco Launches Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Monster Cookies
If you loved Costco’s holiday cookie platter, you’ll be thrilled to know that the retailer is now offering those varieties in single-flavor packs. Shoppers can snag 24-count containers of Red Velvet, Butter Pecan, and Coconut Chocolate Almond cookies for less than $10 each. But that’s not all the retailer has in store for members this month. In addition to the returning flavors, Costco is also introducing a brand-new Peanut Butter Monster Cookie.
Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Monster Cookies are made with a brown butter cookie dough base packed with peanut butter chips, rolled oats, chocolate chunks, and peanut butter candies. Each container includes two dozen cookies and costs around $11—which works out to just under 50 cents a cookie. Considering how many ingredients it takes to make homemade monster cookies, you’ll appreciate the savings.
On social media, fans are thrilled to see the new find on shelves and didn’t waste any time digging in. One TikToker tried the cookies and said they “get better with every bite.”
On Instagram, another reviewer described them as “very soft” and “delicious.” In the comments section, the user gave the cookies a near-perfect rating. “I would say 9 out of 10 for peanut butter lovers!” they wrote. Another person chimed in to share their favorite way to eat them. “We tried them warm out of the oven! So good,” said the Instagrammer.
These cookies will certainly draw eyes to any dessert spread, and would even make a tasty upgrade to your next icebox cake. Or, transform them into ice cream sandwiches with just a small scoop of Kirkland Signature’s beloved vanilla ice cream.
You can find all four varieties, including the new Peanut Butter Monster Cookies, in the Costco bakery section. We don’t know how long these flavors will stick around, so be sure to look for them on your next shopping trip.
