The Lemon Crisp Kit Kat has been a seasonal release every spring since 2020, often appearing in seasonal candy aisles around Easter time. In 2023, Kit Kat expanded the Lemon Crisp lineup to include full-sized bars in addition to individually-wrapped minis; but the additional size didn’t mean a permanent spot in the brand’s lineup.
Luckily, this rare flavor is officially available at Dollar Tree, where you can grab a bag of about 20 Kit Kat bars (which come in duos for the signature break) for $5. And if the reviews are any indication, you may want to run to your nearest store while the Lemon Crisp Kit Kats are still available.
Just like the standard Kit Kat, the Lemon Crisp bars feature the signature wafer cookies in the center. Rather than the typical chocolate, though, this iteration of the fan-favorite candy is enrobed in lemon-flavored creme for a sweet, creamy lemon flavor that’s complemented by a wafer crunch.
If you’re wondering what exactly the Lemon Crisp Kit Kats may taste like, fans have compared the sweet and bright candy to lemon cake, Lemonades Girl Scout cookies, and McDonald’s retro lemon cookies. Though there’s some discrepancy on what exactly the candy bars are reminiscent of, shoppers have reached one solid consensus: Lemon Crisp Kit Kats are pretty delicious.
“They taste amazing to me, not a sour lemon taste but more of a sweet lemony taste,” wrote one Redditor before adding, “I like them more than the original flavor.”

Given that the Lemon Crisp Kit Kats are seasonal (and, on top of that, not easy to find), you may want to consider stocking up on a bag from Dollar Tree while the unique treat is still on shelves.
