It’s been a bummer to see Dollar Tree raise its prices over the last few years, but we have noticed an uptick in viral products and designer-worthy copycats, from these Williams Sonoma-inspired plates to this Crate & Barrel look-alike.
During a recent scroll through the Dollar Tree website, I spotted new highball and lowball glasses in a design I’ve been coveting for a long time. Instead of making room in my budget to get the name-brand version, I’m snagging these $1.50 glasses so I can get the same look without sacrificing style or function.
Dollar Tree’s New Etched Lines Highball Glasses

I’ve been eyeing fluted glassware for a few years now. I think the look is classic and timeless, but with just enough intrigue to make it special. These fluted glasses at Williams Sonoma are absolutely beautiful, but at $22 a glass, I just haven’t made the leap. And now that I’ve found these Dollar Tree fluted glasses, I don’t need to pay nearly 93 percent more for a similar design.
There are two notable differences between the two products: The Williams Sonoma version has a foot on the bottom of each glass, and both the Williams Sonoma highball and lowball glasses are smaller than the Dollar Tree design. The Dollar Tree Etched Lines Highball Glass has a 17-ounce capacity, while the Williams Sonoma highball glass holds 16 ounces. The lowball glass (which Dollar Tree is also calling a highball glass, but it’s a lowball or Old-Fashioned glass) has a 14-ounce capacity. The Williams Sonoma version holds only 10 ounces.
One of the best things about these glasses is that they look great year-round. Fill up the lowball glasses with a gorgeous holiday cocktail that will impress family and friends. And the highball glasses will look just as fabulous with a fancy latte as they will with your morning cup of water. The ribbed lines “catch the light beautifully,” according to Dollar Tree, and are sure to make a beautiful place setting.
