I’ve been lucky enough to test a few Dolly Parton kitchen products over the years, including skillets, baking mixes, and even a Chardonnay. Her popular cookbook features over 80 recipes (the banana pudding has become a favorite in my family) and is a New York Times bestseller.
Lodge has been making cast iron since 1896 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, not far from where Parton grew up. The brand is known for durable, versatile pieces that stand the test of time without breaking the bank. So, when the two partnered for their first cast iron cookware collection back in March 2024, it was a match made in heaven.
Since the first collab, the brand has given us plenty of Dolly-themed cast iron skillets, from holiday collections (Have a Holly Dolly Christmas) to lyrical puns (Jolene, Please Don’t Take My Pan), along with a butterfly-shaped cake pan and a cast iron trivet. However, the Dolly Parton kitchen line has been missing a classic Dutch oven—until now.
Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Dolly Parton Dutch Oven
Lodge
We’ve tested Lodge cast iron Dutch ovens, both enameled and uncoated, and found both to be reliably sturdy and ideal for soups, stews, chili, and homemade bread. Enameled Dutch ovens make great additions to the kitchen because they combine the superior heat retention and distribution of cast iron with a colorful, easy-to-clean surface. Even better, enameled cast iron doesn’t need regular seasoning, making it easier to maintain and safe for acidic foods like tomato sauce.
Dolly’s limited edition Lodge Dutch oven comes in four colors: Blush & Bashful, Islands in the Stream, Mountain Mist, and Hard Candy Christmas. The enamel has a glittery finish that adds a slight sparkle to each shade. The lids, which are topped with a satiny gold knob, feature Parton’s name along with subtle images of butterflies and music notes. Along with the 3-quart option, there are also 5-quart Dutch ovens and 7-quart Dutch ovens available, all of which are compatible with any stovetop or oven up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Backed by Lodge’s expert craftsmanship, this new enameled cookware is sure to be as functional as it is beautiful.
Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Dolly Parton Trivet
Lodge
The brand is rounding out the Dutch oven release with a new musical trivet available in the same three colors. Trivets create a barrier between hot cookware and kitchen surfaces, coming in handy for protecting countertops and tables from scorching and scratching. They’re built to handle high heat and the weight of hefty cookware like Dutch ovens, cast iron skillets, and smaller roasting pans.
Even when they’re not in use, these trivets look fabulous as kitchen decoration or added to the tablescape for a little extra flair. They also have rubber feet to prevent slipping and a metal hanger on the back to hang on the wall. Marked with Parton’s iconic autograph and signature butterfly, they make excellent gifts for any Dolly fan (or music-lover in general).
