    • Endico brand frozen vegetables are being recalled due to Listeria contamination.
    • The mixed vegetables were distributed in six states and D.C. with lot codes 110625 or 170625.
    • Check your freezer for these veggies—Listeria can be serious or even fatal for some groups.

There’s an active recall of Endico frozen vegetables in seven states due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The recall includes 2.5-pound bags of frozen peas and carrots and frozen mixed vegetables, both of which are packaged in a clear plastic bag with the green and red Endico label on the front.

The recalled bags of veggies were distributed to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Florida between July 18 and August 4. All affected products have one of the two lot codes below.

    Peas and carrots
    Lot 110625
    Production date 6/11/25
    Use by date 6/10/27

    Mixed vegetables
    Lot 170625
    Production date 6/17/25
    Use by date 6/16/27

While no illnesses have been reported, the recall was issued by the company, Endico Potatoes Inc., after sampling done by the state of Pennsylvania discovered the products were positive for Listeria. An infection of Listeria (listeriosis) can be serious or even fatal for younger children, elderly people, pregnant people and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms of infection include fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. If you are exhibiting signs of listeriosis, contact a health care provider immediately.

Endico urges customers who purchased the recalled products to not consume them and instead take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund. They can also contact the company at 1-800-431-1398 with any questions.
