I inherited most of my Tupperware containers from my mom. She gave me a full set when I moved into my first apartment, and she’s probably given me a second full set by now, since she frequently brings baked goods every time she visits, leaving me with the container. In the 90s, she attended many Tupperware parties, so she still has plenty of containers for her own kitchen.
All of those Tupperware containers are made of plastic, which means I can’t heat up leftovers in them. Imagine my surprise, then, when I learned Tupperware has a collection of glass food containers. That surprise increased when I found out those glass containers doubled as baking dishes, and when Tupperware reached out to me and asked if I wanted to test out the full Voila Glass Bakeware set? Color me shocked, but excited.
Tupperware Voila Glass Square Food Storage and Baking Dish
Tupperware
The Voila Glass Tupperware collection has three pieces, and I started by testing the square dish. After all, fall had finally arrived, and I had a craving for apple crisp. Every time I’ve made this tasty dessert, I’ve used a square metal pan, but now that I’ve used the Voila glass dish, I’m never going back.
The Voila baking dish had several more benefits than my metal pan. First and foremost, I love the timeless look of glass. Plus, I could see inside the dish while it was baking. Unlike my metal pan, the Voila dish has a slight rim around the edges, making it so much easier to lift in and out of the oven.
Once the crisp was cooked to perfection (and I served myself a heaping piece), I popped on the sturdy lid and put the whole dish in the fridge. Since my kitchen is fairly small, I’m a big fan of multipurpose kitchen tools. The Voila Tupperware pulls triple duty as a baking dish, serveware piece, and food storage container.
The next day, I pulled the dish from the fridge and put it in the microwave, popping open the lid’s steam vent before reheating the dessert. It heated the crisp quickly and evenly without making a big, splattery mess of my microwave. However, though Tupperware markets the lid as microwave-safe, it is made of plastic so Allrecipes can’t recommend putting it in the appliance.
Tupperware Voila Glass XL Rectangular Food Storage and Baking Dish

Next, I tested the Voila Glass XL Rectangular Baking Dish by making a comforting tater tot casserole. Since it was the first time I’d made this particular recipe, I kept a close eye on it. The crystal clear glass came in handy because I could watch the tots bake. When my timer went off, I knew the casserole wasn’t quite done thanks to the see-through dish. After another five minutes in the oven, dinner was ready.
I appreciate that the airtight lid has an extended tab on one corner, making it easier to open the dish. Like the smaller square baking dish, this broad rectangular version has a handy rim and is safe to use in the microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. It has a roomy 3-quart capacity and a convenient fill-line on the side so you don’t accidentally overfill.
Tupperware Voila Glass Round Food Storage and Baking Dish

While I haven’t used the round Voila Tupperware dish yet, I know I’ll love it. I can already imagine using it to store big servings of turkey chili or slow cooker chicken stew. In terms of cooking, the 1.8-quart bowl is a great size to roast a serving of veggies or a shepherd’s pie.
Both the round and square baking dishes cost $24, while the XL rectangular dish is only $10 more at $34. You can purchase them individually, but if you want all three, Tupperware sells them for the whole bundle for $82.
I’m genuinely excited to show off this glassware set. It’s convenient, versatile, and nice to look at. My mom’s jealous of my modern Tupperware collection—no parties needed.
