I just received a Le Creuset braiser for my birthday, and I can’t begin to explain how many fall recipes I have planned for it. Like the braiser, there are a few other cookware pieces that shine this time of year, especially around the holidays. Think Dutch ovens, stockpots, and roasting pans for making comforting soups, casseroles, roast dinners, pasta sauces and more.

Williams Sonoma’s massive fall savings event just so happens to have discounted prices on all of those pieces and then some, right in time for cozy cooking and baking. Shop top brands like Le Creuset, Staub and All-Clad for up to 46% off.

Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron Braiser with Glass Lid, 2.25-Quart

    Williams Sonoma

This Le Creuset braiser has a unique twist. The base is made with the brand’s coveted enameled cast-iron, while the lid is made with glass. Not only does this make the pan lighter, but it also allows you to easily monitor the cooking process of whatever’s inside. It’s on sale in 17 colors.

Staub Enameled Cast-Iron Round Dutch Oven, 7-Quart

    Williams Sonoma

When it comes to Dutch ovens, few compare to Staub’s. They’re favorites for a reason, thanks to their durable textured enameled surface and heat-retaining cast-iron core. When we tested the brand’s smaller 5-quart size, we found that the tall, round shape heated evenly and was relatively nonstick right out of the box, though the surface will only become more slick over time. Grab the 7-ounce size today in time for stews, soups and other bubbling fall recipes.

Le Creuset Enameled Steel Stockpot with Stainless Steel Knob

    Williams Sonoma

Speaking of soups: Recipes turn out better when you make your own stock or broth. Plus, it’s an easy way to repurpose food scraps. Use onion shells, carrot peels and tops, celery butts or even leftover rotisserie chicken from the week to make a flavorful batch. This Le Creuset pot was made specifically for the job. It has a lightweight steel frame with the brand’s signature enameled coating to prevent sticking. On sale in a wide range of colors, the useful stockpot will fit right in with your enameled cast-iron collection. Use it for soups, sauces and gravies galore.

Lodge Seasoned Cast-Iron 5-Piece Cookware Set

    Williams Sonoma

Dietitians love cast-iron cookware for its long-lasting, non-toxic surface. Did you know that, over time, you can even get some dietary iron from these pans? A win-win! We’re big fans of Lodge cast-iron skillets for their lower price and high-quality results. This set comes with two skillets, a griddle and a Dutch oven.

All-Clad D3 Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Traditional Covered Fry Pan

    Williams Sonoma

Stainless steel cookware is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a powerhouse material that delivers on performance and longevity. Plus, it’s a non-toxic alternative to traditional nonstick. All-Clad is known for its stainless steel, and the D3 line is a great place to begin because it’s plenty versatile and durable without being overly heavy. Available in a 10- and 12-inch size, this pan comes with a nifty lid to top it off—literally.

Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron Oval Dutch Oven, 8-Quart

    Williams Sonoma

You can now be the proud owner of a Le Creuset Dutch oven for 37% less than usual. On sale in every color, the 8-quart oval Dutch oven is the perfect fall and winter kitchen companion. Its lofty size can handle big batches of sauce, soups and even sides like mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. And, its oval shape means it’ll easily fit oblong proteins for braising and roasting. This is a buy-it-for-life piece.

All-Clad Simply Strain Stainless Steel Multipot

    Williams Sonoma

Another stainless steel find from All-Clad, this multipot can juggle a few tasks, hence the name. The base pot ranges in size from 8 to 16 quarts, and each option is on sale. Inside is a perforated insert for straining ingredients easily, like blanched broccoli or cubed potatoes. It’s even oven-safe up to 600°F.

Le Creuset Modern Heritage Enameled Cast-Iron Braiser, 3.25-Quart

    Williams Sonoma

With its sleek, matte exterior, this chic take on the brand’s signature braiser might be even prettier than the classic. I love that it retains the slightly domed lid, which helps redistribute moisture and can fit more volume. The modern design is available on sale in classic Le Creuset colors, such as flame, oyster, cerise and artichaut.

All-Clad D5 Stainless Steel 2-Piece Deep Skillet Set

    Williams Sonoma

Everyone needs skillets on hand, and these extra-deep ones ensure you can fit everything from hefty chicken thighs to slender, long green beans. From the weightier D5 line, these pans include added layers of steel and aluminum for even better heat retention and distribution than the brand’s D3 collection. The set comes with an 8.5- and 10.5-inch pan—two essential sizes you’ll use daily.

Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron Signature French Oven, 2.5-Quart

    Williams Sonoma

This is the item I’m eyeing most from the Williams Sonoma sale; a Le Creuset enameled cast-iron piece for $160 feels like an excellent price. The  French oven has a tapered base that’s great for sauces and sides, such as risotto, or dishes like casseroles and fruit crumbles. Its 2.25-quart size is just right to fit big batches without taking up too much storage space in my cabinet.

iAll-Clad D3 Stainless Steel Flared Roasting Pan with Rack

    Williams Sonoma

‘Tis the season for a holiday roasting pan. All-Clad’s streamlined option is made entirely from stainless steel, from the top handles to the bottom tray, making it a healthy choice for high-heat cooking or slow-roasting. There are two sizes on sale: a large 16.75 x 13.75 x 2.5 inch pan that can hold a 20-pound turkey and an extra-large 18.75 x 14.75 x 2.5 inch pan that can hold a 25-pound turkey.
