Even for those of us that love cooking, sometimes dinner can feel like a chore after a long day at work. Prepped in Five is about walking through the door, throwing a handful of smart ingredients together and sitting down to something that feels satisfying and wholesome.

Curated with Nutracheck members in mind, these low-ingredient recipes turn your storecupboard staples into plates that taste like heaven – and they all require a maximum prep time of just five minutes.

My Prepped in Five meal plan is suited to all proficiencies of home cook – from beginner to advanced. Many of the meals are no chop, using tins and frozen veg to reduce the hassle, while delivering on health, flavour and efficiency. In fact, every meal is high in protein and contributes to your five-a-day.

    How to follow the plan

I developed these recipes with Good Food recipe developer Helena Busiakiewicz. They’re designed to be made as seven dinners across your working week and are nutritionally balanced to help you meet your health goals. They involve minimal prep with maximum payoff and the ingredients are readily available from your local supermarket – you’ll probably have some in your cupboard already.

Day one: Sticky tofu & mushroom udon noodles

    Day two: Burger bowl

Day three: ‘Eat your greens’ mac & cheese

Day four: One-pot tomato, chorizo & mozzarella pasta

Day five: Red pesto & mozzarella chicken traybake

    Day six: Curried coconut cod

Day seven: One-pan marry me butterbeans

Use the Nutracheck app to log macros and fibre as you go while the Good Food app walks you through each step of your cooking.
