GHOST is back in Vegas this October with epic festival collabs! Rise Fest gets custom Energy OG cans with desert sunset art, while When We Were Young brings back Sour Punk Lemonade PLUS debuts Kiwi Strawberry Hydration RTD.

GHOST Lifestyle continues building its legendary festival presence with two returning collaborations this October in Las Vegas. The brand has announced custom editions of GHOST Energy for Rise Fest (October 3-5) and both energy and GHOST Hydration RTD for When We Were Young (October 18-19), cementing their position as the go-to lifestyle brand at music’s biggest desert gatherings.

Rise Fest Brings on GHOST Energy OG with an Epic Can

Rise Fest is returning for its 10th anniversary as the world’s largest sky lantern festival, bringing together tens of thousands for an immersive celebration of art, music, and light on the Jean Dry Lake Bed outside Las Vegas. The three-night festival features headliners like Rüfüs Du Sol, Calvin Harris, and John Mayer across three distinct venues.

GHOST is commemorating the occasion with a custom GHOST Energy OG can featuring stunning desert sunset artwork that perfectly captures the festival’s transcendent atmosphere. The exclusive packaging showcases warm gradient colors flowing from deep purples and reds to golden yellows, mirroring the breathtaking desert landscape where Rise takes place.

This festival-only release won’t be available through direct-to-consumer channels, making it a true collector’s item for festival attendees. The OG flavor represents GHOST’s original taste profile modeled off of an improved flavor profile that launched energy drinks into stardom, all while delivering their signature 200mg natural caffeine formula with zero sugar… in packaging that’s as visually striking as the festival itself.

Rise Fest perfectly aligns with GHOST’s brand philosophy of connecting with communities that value authentic experiences over mainstream appeal. As GHOST listed as an official partner, this collaboration strengthens their presence in the experiential lifestyle space.

When We Were Young 2025: Sour Punk Lemonade Returns, Kiwi Strawberry Hydration Debuts

The emo and pop-punk festival that’s become a cultural phenomenon returns to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds for two days (October 18-19), featuring Panic! at the Disco and Blink-182 as headliners. GHOST is expanding last year’s successful partnership by bringing back GHOST Energy Sour Punk Lemonade while adding GHOST Hydration Kiwi Strawberry to the lineup.

    • GHOST Energy Sour Punk Lemonade: Year Two

Following its successful debut in 2024, Sour Punk Lemonade returns as the official energy drink of When We Were Young. This custom flavor name captures the rebellious spirit of the festival’s emo and pop-punk roots with a tart, refreshing lemonade profile that’s anything but ordinary.

Unlike last year’s 7-Eleven exclusive rollout, this year’s release will be available as a direct-to-consumer gift with purchase promotion starting October 8th. Every order on GHOST’s US website will receive one complimentary Energy can while supplies last, giving fans nationwide access to this festival collaboration before it hits the festival grounds.

The Sour Punk Lemonade formula delivers the same premium GHOST Energy experience fans expect, with 200mg natural caffeine, 1000mg L-carnitine, 1000mg taurine, 150mg Alpha-GPC, and 100mg NeuroFactor coffee fruit extract. It’s the same nutrition facts panel as GHOST Energy Sour Pink Lemonade, but with festival-exclusive branding celebrating When We Were Young.

    • GHOST Hydration Kiwi Strawberry: Festival Hydration Done Right

The real news for 2025 is GHOST’s expansion into festival hydration with Kiwi Strawberry GHOST Hydration RTD. This marks the first time When We Were Young has featured a custom hydration product, giving attendees a premium electrolyte option that’s actually worth drinking.

GHOST Hydration stands out from typical festival beverages with its superior electrolyte profile, featuring 700mg potassium (15% DV), 126mg magnesium (30% DV), and proper ratios of calcium, chloride, and sodium. Unlike most hydration drinks that skimp on potassium, GHOST delivers clinical doses where they matter most.

The formula also includes Aquamin Soluble (seaweed-derived calcium citrate malate) for additional mineral support, plus ghost’s signature attention to taste with natural flavoring and zero sugar. Kiwi Strawberry combines tropical kiwi notes with classic strawberry sweetness for a refreshing flavor that doesn’t taste like medicine.

Like the energy collaboration, Kiwi Strawberry Hydration will be available as a DTC gift with purchase starting October 8th (one bottle per order, US only, while supplies last) before hitting the festival. This formula matches the existing GHOST Hydration Kiwi Strawberry nutrition facts panel, but comes in exclusive When We Were Young packaging.

    The Las Vegas Connection

In a monumental turn of events, Ghost Lifestyle has been acquired by Keurig Dr Pepper in a deal worth $1.65 Billion Dollars! Our only question is, when’s the Dr Pepper energy drink collab?!

Both festivals take place in Las Vegas, which makes these collaborations even more meaningful for GHOST. As CEO Dan Lourenço discussed in Episode #116 of the PricePlow Podcast: The Meteoric Rise of Ghost Energy, Las Vegas is GHOST’s founding home, and the brand has deep connections to the city’s culture.

These festival partnerships allow GHOST to connect with communities that share their rebellious spirit and authentic approach to life, whether that’s launching sky lanterns into the desert night or headbanging to the bands that defined a generation. Following their acquisition by Keurig Dr. Pepper for $1.65 billion, GHOST has maintained its ability to create genuine, culture-driven collaborations that resonate with their core audience.

Festival Season Wraps with EDC and Warped Tour

GHOST’s October festival collaborations cap off an incredible year of music partnerships. The brand previously released custom cans for EDC’s Electric Limeade and served as the official energy and hydration partner of Warped Tour’s 30th anniversary.

The remaining EDC and Warped Tour dates this year will feature those same collaborations (EDC’s Electric Limeade and Warped Tour’s OG Energy with Kiwi Strawberry Hydration), giving GHOST a complete festival presence through the end of 2025.

GHOST partners with Warped Tour as official energy sponsor for the festival’s 30th anniversary. Special edition OG Energy and Kiwi Strawberry Hydration feature exclusive artwork celebrating both brands’ rebellious alternative culture.

Conclusion: Festivals, Music, and Energy Done Right

GHOST’s October festival collaborations showcase exactly what makes the brand special: authentic connections with communities that value genuine experiences over manufactured hype. From the transcendent beauty of Rise Fest’s sky lantern ceremonies to the nostalgic energy of When We Were Young’s emo revival, GHOST isn’t just sponsoring events — they’re becoming part of the cultural fabric that makes these festivals memorable.

The expansion from energy-only partnerships to including premium hydration options shows GHOST’s commitment to supporting festival-goers throughout their entire experience. Whether you’re dancing under desert stars or headbanging to the bands that shaped your teenage years, GHOST has you covered with products that actually deliver on their promises.

Mark your calendars: Rise Fest runs October 3-5, When We Were Young takes over October 18-19, and the DTC gift with purchase for When We Were Young collaborations starts October 8th. These limited-edition releases won’t last long, so don’t miss your chance to own a piece of festival history.
