Here is the third and final post from our Virgin Cruise! This last stop was a sea day and a day at Virgin’s Bimini Beach Club. Read Part I and Part II first!
Sailing To Bimini Beach Club
Before we got to Bimini, we had another day at sea. I loved the cadence of where this cruise was: sea – land – sea – land. Great pace to mix it up with relaxing and exploring. So here’s breakfast on the sea day! Smoked salmon toast (plus tropical fruit).
We did a lot of relaxing this day because everyone was a bit tired from staying up for Scarlet Night. I loved all of the lounge spaces on the ship, and this mural was one of my favorites. We found some beds at The Dock and read for the morning.
This is the perfect lunch – healthy salad bowl with fried cheese and tons of greens and veggies and then the two best desserts: S’mores in a jar and the Passionfruit Tart with meringue topping. What I would do to have this meal again!!
OOTD!
We went to the Love, Love, Love show before dinner and had drinks at On The Rocks again.
Dinner at Gunbae!
Gunbae was the Korean BBQ restaurant on the ship, and it was a good time! They taught us a drinking game where you count upwards and clap on the 3-6-9’s. We loved the game!! We did not take the shots – so Jonathon had them! Learn the game here.
The food was delicious!
Y2K Night
After dinner we hit up Y2K trivia and did QUITE well. But alas, we didn’t win.
And then we went to the Y2K party! This was quite the 1999 vibe in all the ways, from the videos playing on the screens to the iMac computers hanging from the ceiling!
Bimini Beach Day
The next morning we arrived in Bimini! Bimini is a tiny island in the Bahamas – you might remember it from the Bachelor one season. It was beautiful. Virgin has its own beach club there with food included, just like on the ship, so we headed in that direction on foot so we could see more of the island (you could also take a tram).
We had a great time in the sand and sun. The club was a little crowded, but when the DJ came on, the pool was hoppin’ in the best way!
Lunch
I loved that lunch was included, and the small plates were so good!!! The coconut street corn was my favorite – mind blowing! I also loved the cassava fries and the rum cake.
My suit here is also Albion Fit!
We spent the afternoon alternating beach – pool – beach – pool.
Final Dinner at The Wake
We saved the fanciest restaurant for our final dinner. The Wake is the steakhouse and it was great!
I got a wedge salad to start and a malbec. One of the best wedges I’ve ever had.
Steaks and fish all around.
The lemon cheesecake was a LEMON! White chocolate shell with a lemon cheesecake inside. I was obsessed.
What a great trip! Writing about it all makes me want to go back so badly. So much so that we already booked our 2.0 trip for next winter!
I really can’t say enough good things about Virgin. It was definitely a party vibe, so if you like quiet spaces and dislike DJs, this would not be for you. But for a group of friends, it was perfect. Can’t wait for next time!
