‘Tis the season for lots and lots of candy announcements from our favorite brands. However, typically, those announcements involve special seasonal shapes, holiday-inspired flavors, and green and red-colored everything. And yet, we’ve been seeing more and more launches from brands that aren’t related to fall, Halloween, or Christmas.
Fast on the heels of M&M’s new Honey Roasted Peanut flavor, Mars Wrigley has announced its plans for the remainder of 2025 and 2026. In the next year, the candy brand has 11 innovations planned, including new M&M’s, Twix, Starburst, and Life Savers candies.
We’ve already seen the new Skittles Gummies Fuego hit and sell out on TikTok Shop, with future retailer availability planned for next year. Next up, we’re going to see a long-discontinued Snickers candy bar back on shelves.

Snickers Brings Back Snickers Xtreme

If you (like us) love Snickers seasonal shapes—like trees, eggs, and the newly re-formulated pumpkins—because of the extra good stuff in the center, then Snickers Xtreme was likely your favorite Snickers bar back in the 2010s. And, if you’ve never heard of the Xtreme version, then you’ll be excited to learn that the candy is filled with extra peanuts and caramel.
The “extremely” packed Snickers candy is loaded with filling, but mostly peanuts, making it the perfect treat for nut lovers.
Snickers Xtreme originally debuted in 2014, but hasn’t been seen in nearly a decade. Now, the candy, which fans call the “absolute best” Snickers, is making its long-awaited return.
Snickers Xtreme is set to return to retailer shelves this winter, with nationwide availability in Single and Share sizes beginning in December. It’s not clear if the peanut-packed candy is coming back to shelves as a permanent fixture in the Snickers lineup, or just a limited offering. However, what is clear is that some early shipments of Snickers Xtreme are being spotted at stores. Some fans have found the candy at 7-Eleven.
If you aren’t lucky enough to find the returning peanut and caramel-filled Snickers Xtreme early, there are only a few more months until they’re officially back on shelves. And, hey Santa, the Share size is perfect for stockings.
