While every fast food restaurant has its menu staples—think nuggets at Chick-fil-A, burgers at McDonald’s, and pizza from Little Caesars—chains are constantly dropping new and exciting items to keep customers on their toes. Whether it’s a new twist on a fan favorite or a limited-time offering, fast food brands consistently debut unique additions (looking at you, CFA’s new Frosted Sodas) that are worth racing to the drive-thru. Here are seven of the best fast food releases from the last week that we can’t wait to try.
Arby’s Italian Beef Dip Sandwich
Arby’s
Arby’s has the meats, and the chain is now upgrading its iconic roast beef sandwiches, Chicago-style. Arby’s new Italian Beef Dip sandwich starts with slow-roasted, thinly sliced roast beef piled high on a warm sub roll and topped with a layer of melty Swiss cheese. And, for a true Italian beef sandwich, Arby’s is serving up the sub with its first Vienna giardiniera—a medley of herby pickled veggies and spicy peppers—plus a side of au jus sauce for dipping.
Dairy Queen’s Parmesan Garlic Sauced & Tossed Chicken Strip Basket
Dairy Queen/Allrecipes
Dairy Queen may be known for the Blizzard, but the chain also has a pretty solid lineup of fast food staples, including burgers, hot dogs, and chicken nuggets. Beyond the basics, though, DQ often adds unique spins to fan favorites, including the Parmesan Garlic Sauced & Tossed Chicken Strip Basket.
Dairy Queen’s Parmesan Garlic Sauced & Tossed Chicken Strip Basket, which debuted for a limited run in 2024, stars all-white meat chicken strips that are breaded, fried, and tossed in a creamy Parmesan-garlic sauce. Plus, each meal includes a thick slice of buttery Texas Toast, a selection of DQ’s dipping sauces, and your choice of a side, such as cheese curds, french fries, or onion rings. And since no DQ run is complete without a sweet treat, you can add a beverage and upgrade to any of the chain’s Blizzards or frozen drinks for a few extra bucks.
Panera’s Bagel Stacks & Asiago Everything Bagel
Last year, Panera dropped Bagel Stacks, and the packed sandwiches quickly became a fan favorite at the fast food café. Now, Panera is bringing back two savory faves, the Chicken Roma Asiago Bagel Stack and the Spicy Steak Asiago Bagel Stack, and debuting three breakfast sandwiches on the chain’s newest bagel.
Panera’s new Asiago Everything Bagel features the best of both worlds with savory seasoning and flavorful Asiago cheese, making it an ideal base for the three new breakfast items. The options include a Wake-Up BLT Asiago Everything Stack, the Farmhouse Duo Asiago Bagel Stack (which features both bacon and sausage), and the Sausage & Egg Asiago Bagel for a protein-packed start to any morning.
Taco Bell’s Luxe Value Menu
After successfully launching the $5, $7, and $9 Luxe Cravings Boxes in 2025, Taco Bell is dropping the Luxe Value Menu, which includes a few highly-anticipated new menu items, all for $3 or less. T Bell’s newest menu includes the Mini Taco Salad (which debuted at Live Más Live in 2025), Beefy Potato Loaded Griller, Chips & Nacho Supreme Dip, and the Avocado Ranch Chicken Stacker. And since no menu is complete without dessert, Taco Bell is also serving Salted Caramel Churros, but unlike the other four items, the filled churros are available only for a limited time.
In addition, five of the original Cravings Value Menus will now be included in the new Luxe Value Menu, including the Cheesy Roll Up, Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, 3 Cheese Chicken Flatbread Melt, Cheesy Double Beef Burrito, and Spicy Potato Soft Taco.
Wendy’s Biggie Deals Value Menu
Allrecipes / Wendy’s
Unfortunately, Wendy’s is phasing out the “444” deal. But it’s not all bad news. The chain introduced a new permanent Biggie Deals value menu with even more options. The $4 Biggie Bites meal (in lieu of the 444) includes two items for just two bucks each. First, customers can choose between a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Jr. Cheeseburger, Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, four-count nuggets, or junior fry. Then, pair it with your choice of four-piece chicken nuggets, a junior french fry, or a small soft drink.
The $6 Biggie Bag is also sticking around, with a minor tweak: The meal no longer includes a Crispy Chicken BLT or Bacon Double Stack. Otherwise, the deal is the same with a sandwich, nuggets, french fries, and a soft drink. And, if you want to maximize your meal deal, the $8 Biggie Bundle includes two sandwiches of your choosing—with options including a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Jr. Cheeseburger, Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, or Double Stack—plus fries on the side and a small soft drink.
Whataburger Big Ranch Chicken Wrap
Whataburger is coming for McDonald’s with a brand new chicken dish as part of the chain’s new budget-friendly Whatadeal value menu, and it might just be better (and cheaper) than the Golden Arches. Whataburger’s new Big Ranch Wrap, which is just $4, features a warm tortilla packed with a crispy Whatachick’n Strip, lettuce, tomato, the chain’s Creamy Buttermilk Ranch, and American cheese.
“The wrap is so good!” reported one fan, who dubbed Whataburger’s new item “a million times better than the [McDonald’s] Snack Wrap.”
In addition to the Big Ranch Wrap, the chain is also offering 5-piece Whatachick’n Bites for just $4 and the Bacon and Cheese Whataburger Jr. for $5 as part of the Whatadeal promotion. And, if you want to make any of the three options a meal, customers can add on french fries and a soft drink for an extra $2.49.
