While each bite is, arguably, the definition of perfection, the best part is the rotating seasonal flavors. In May, Nightingale’s offered Strawberry Shortcake to enjoy in the summer, and now it has released the ideal flavor to enjoy this fall and winter: Apple Cider Donut.
Apple cider doughnuts are one of the hallmark treats to enjoy during autumnal activities, and featuring the nostalgic flavor in the form of an ice cream sandwich creates the ultimate fall dessert. The limited-edition ice cream sandwiches are made with a 14% butterfat apple cider ice cream, studded with spiced cake pieces for that iconic doughnut taste. The ice cream is then sandwiched between two indulgent brown sugar cookies.
Nightingale’s fans have been quick to share their enthusiasm for the new flavor on Instagram. “This thing is bonkers good and deserves a gold medal and a high five,” one person wrote.
