Its high-res 2K video is a major upgrade compared to 1080p cameras on the market (including older Ring cams) with basic black-and-white night vision. Per this PCMag review, the camera features Low-Light Sight, which provides more visibility and color detail in near-dark settings. Its 160° diagonal field of view also covers a decent area, leading to fewer blind spots on porches, yards, or other outdoor areas than older models with an approximately 143° diagonal FOV, and many reviewers cite the improved view as a standout feature.
