What is the future of workplace wellbeing?
This is the question we ask ourselves each year, seeking to align our own strategies with the changing landscape and emerging empirical evidence. In 2026, a convergence of structural forces such as demographic shifts, technological acceleration, economic volatility, and intensifying work demands is redefining workforce health and wellbeing as a determinant of sustained performance. How do we best adapt to this new reality?
As we seek an answer, we can become bogged down in the mire of conflicting information and biased interests. Too often, the “future” is rooted in products on the market or the newest technology. Adding another tool, feature, or pillar within the workplace has become the standard response to a changing environment. This approach may achieve short-term improvements, but to create a sustainable impact requires a thoughtful exploration of what is truly necessary to achieve better outcomes.
The Workplace Wellbeing Initiative of the Global Wellness Institute is proud to announce a new LinkedIn Live event series for 2026: Future of Workplace Wellbeing Live, presented by Propel.
The series will examine seven key trends within the landscape of workplace wellbeing, going in depth with experts and thought leaders to uncover the true future of workplace wellbeing and the paradigm shifts top organizations are making to build a sustainable future of healthy living. The series offers practical, evidence-based strategies that directly address many of the structural obstacles that workplace wellbeing leaders face. Viewers tuning into the live sessions will be able to interact with presenters and have their questions answered.
