Nearly 3,000 pounds (lb) of Forward Farms Grass-Fed Ground Beef has been recalled because it may be contaminated with the bacteria E. coli, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced over the weekend.[1]FSIS/USDARoutine testing revealed the presence of E. coli O26, a less-common strain of Shiga toxin–producing E. coli.
