40 years ago, Sour Patch Kids debuted in the United States. Originally dreamed up in Canada, the iconic fruity chews have always lived up to the brand’s slogan: Sour, Sweet, Gone. Sour Patch Kids have mastered the perfect balance of mouth-puckering sour with a sweet and fruity aftertaste. But for some, that signature sour is just a little too sour.

That’s where the brand’s “Not So Sour” product line comes in. These candies still have that crave-worthy sour taste, but it’s a little more subtle. Candies in the “Not So Sour” lineup have a sweet taste that comes in faster and lasts longer than traditional Sour Patch Kids. It’s less of a kick of that mischievous sour taste and more of a gentle nudge.

Now, Sour Patch Kids is expanding the Fruits collection with all-new flavors.

Sour Patch Kids just announced an all-new variety pack: Fruits Tropical Mix. The new fruit-shaped gummies come in four flavors: Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Tropical Twist, and Paradise Punch.

If this combination looks familiar, it’s because Haribo has a similar product. Haribo’s popular Tropifrutti candies feature similar fruit shapes, with tropical flavors such as pineapple, mango-tangerine, passion fruit, and more. So, if you ever wanted a little sour kiss on those tasty Haribo chews, this new Sour Patch Kids candy has it all in one bite.

Sour Patch Kids Fruits Tropical Mix will be available at Target starting this month, and the new candy will have a wider distribution in the U.S. later this year. The gummies will be sold in three different sizes (3.09 ounces, 7.28 ounces, and 11.11 ounces), so, there are options for sharing or keeping it all to yourself.
